Electroland premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 5/07 and airs on HBO 7/07.
Electroland is an aesthetic and informational portrait of the US power grid made for Al Gore’s SOS/Live Earth climate change concert and film series. 40% of US greenhouse gas emissions come from power generation, so the film is designed to give the average American consumer a sense of where our electricity comes from, how much it costs and how much it adds or doesn’t add to global warming.
