Gabriel produced Drew Barrymore’s documentary for MTV about Drew’s quest to understand youth voting and why it’s important. The film follows Drew across America – from the New Hampshire primaries to the heart of voting rights movement – as she talks to everyone from Senator Clinton to high school students to the voting rights activists of Selma, Alabama. As she learns, the audience is enlightened on why voting matters.

Directed a short film on the trial of two teenagers for the murder of their father dealing with issue of trying children as adults. This was a sensational Court TV covered case that was an early attempt by Found Object Films to look behind the headlines to find the characters driving this bizarre story. David Rimmer, prosecutor allowed us to understand his passion for getting a confession over wining a case against the town pedophile.

A short film on foster care kids ‘in the system’: foster care, group homes and prison. We looked at different outcomes for kids who are in state custody, and enjoyed rare access through the California courts to live and film at a group home.
